Live Music & Nightlife

John's Alley is the legendary dive bar for live music. One World Cafe hosts acoustic acts and open mics. Hunga Dunga Brewing and Shattuck West have regular trivia and live music. In Pullman, Rico's Pub and The Coug keep things lively.

Food & Drink

Moscow's downtown is walkable and packed with restaurants. The Moscow Food Co-op is a community staple. Saturday mornings mean the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street (May–October). Pullman has craft breweries like Paradise Creek and a growing food scene.

The Palouse is rolling wheat fields, epic sunsets, and miles of trails. The Bill Chipman Trail connects Moscow and Pullman (7 miles). Moscow Mountain has hiking and mountain biking. PCEI's nature center hosts guided walks and volunteer days.

University Life

The University of Idaho (Vandals) and Washington State University (Cougars) drive much of the cultural life. Catch football at the Kibbie Dome or Martin Stadium, see theater at the Hartung or Daggy Hall, and explore student-run events at the CUB and Pitman Center.

Arts & Culture

The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre is a beautifully restored 1926 theater showing films and hosting concerts. The Prichard Art Gallery and Moscow Contemporary feature rotating exhibitions. Pullman Civic Theatre puts on community stage productions year-round.

Community

The Palouse is a tight-knit community. Potlucks, volunteer days, book clubs at BookPeople and Brused Books, and community meetings at the 1912 Center are how people connect. Both towns have active chambers of commerce that organize festivals and events throughout the year.
